Entry from: Sydney, Australia Entry Title: "Day Trip To Manly" Entry: "Admittedly I slept in this morning, possibly from jet lag or possibly from anxiety of starting the day. I began by getting ready and grabbing the affordable and well portioned meal at the cafe in reception. I then proceeded to take a train out to Circular Caye once again where i would board one of the many harbour ferries to Manly Beach; one of the more secluded and pristine surfers beaches. As I was exiting the station I was approached by a fellow Canadian, Amy from British Columbia, who noticed the flag on my day pack. She asked where I was going and coincidentally she was also taking a trip out to Manly beach to play some volleyball and asked if id like to join her and some of her friends. Score one for the flag, i knew it would come in handy eventually. The ferries to Manly run every half hour and are well appointed. They are equipped with bathrooms, comfortable seats and plenty of outside seating to take in the magnificent views as you pass the harbour bridge, opera house, and the opening to the Pacific Ocean. Once you arrive at the Manly ferry terminal you know right away your in surfer country with boards, Billabong shirts and Roxy bikinis abound. The downtown core reminds me of Wasaga Beach in Canada with its open air stores ...
